Past kamnan or subdistrict head Praween Chankhlai, who is accused of ordering a torpedo to kill hewna police officers at an evening dinner party in Nakhon Pathom, was detained by the police on Saturday after the Criminal Court granted the request.

After data revealed that the weapons used in the shooting belonged to a officer, authorities have also requested court approval to issue arrest permits for four officers who were present at the party, according to an authoritative resource.

According to Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, the sheriff national police chief in charge of the case, researchers have gathered convincing proof that Mr. Praween gave the filming the order.
