KUALA LUMPUR: Jasmine Loo Ai Swan, a former 1Malaysia Development Berhad( 1MDB ) lawyer, had his assets seized, including two Pablo Picasso paintings, expensive watches, and high-end condominiums in London, the United States and Switzerland.
The assets, valued at RM933.2 million( US$ 20 million ), were allegedly obtained as a result of the misappropriation of 1MDB funds, according to Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Deputy Inspector General of Police & nbsp.
He claimed that after Loo misappropriated 1MDB resources, the officers had taken several things for RM625, 500 from a condo building in Bukit Damansara that was being used to store acquired assets.
In a special press conference held today in Bukit Aman, he stated that among the items seized were” a Richard Mille and Harry Winston comfort see, 13 bags of different brands, and paperwork.”
According to him, the studies revealed that Loo was offered a job at the business in 2011 and was paid RM40,000 per month.
In addition to that, the research revealed that Loo is the proprietor of a business that is registered in the British Virgin Isles and that she also shares an bill at Falcon Private Bank with Jho Low.
According to him, Loo even received funding from a number of businesses and organizations worth$ 16 million, which was used to purchase real estate in New York and London as well as invest there.
He added that Loo had received several products from Jho Low, including Birkin bags and Richard Mille and Harry Winston comfort pieces, and that” of the full, the United States Department of Justice has frozen the US$ 5 million.”
Ayob Khan claims that Loo also has a number of resources in Singapore, including an unidentified balance on two bank accounts at BSI Bank Singapore and Credit Suisse AG.
According to Ayob Khan, Loo also owns two condominium units in the republic worth$ 1.3 million and$ 2.5 million, and she has signed an a & nbsp document to return all of her assets to 1MDB.
