Typhoon Khanun was expected to parry past Taiwan’s north shores late on Thursday before making a sharp turn to the north on Friday. It was moving 4 km yard northwest across the lake, according to climate officials.
All private boat lines may be suspended on Thursday, and nearly 30 domestic and international airlines have been canceled.
According to the defense department, the central government has established an emergency response center, and hundreds of soldiers are on standby in northern places.
