Team DoBetter wins the first ImpactHack 2023 Hackathon by Standard Chartered

Team DoBetter took home US$6,444 (MYR30,000) well as trophies and certificates as the champion at ImpactHack 2023 Hackathon by Standard Chartered. The team won for their prototype solution BizFlow, a centralised data intelligence solution that enables businesses to harness data for actionable insights and automation.

ImpactHack 2023 by Standard Chartered is a 48-hour hybrid hackathon from 16 to 18 June. The inaugural event included 100 teams comprising more than 350 working professionals and tertiary students. The event addresses the common pain points SMEs face in their digitalisation journey.

The Grand Final, held on 24 June, saw the top 10 teams presenting their enhanced solutions to a panel of eminent judges. 

The judges are Sammeer, managing director and head of Consumer, Private and Business Banking at Standard Chartered Malaysia; Ahmad Irsyad Kamaruzaman, manager of Funding Facilitation at Malaysia Digital Economy Malaysia (MDEC); Mohamad Johan Nasir, CFO of NFT Pangolin; Aaron Sarma, Entrepreneur and General Partner at ScaleUp Malaysia; and Afnizanfaizal Abdullah, GM of Technology Commercialisation at Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI) 

Other winners of the hackathon are V-Cred (Runner-up), getBread (2nd Runner-up), BringBrackControl (Most Engaging Team), CAB (Best Social Media Post), Data Rangers (Best Dressed Team), ActuallyTryingHard (Best Presenter), and Spooder Coder (Best Demo).
