A 34-year-old person was also attacked by a crazy pig in Bukit Panjang last month, leaving her in the hospital with numerous cuts and scars all over her body.

NParks’ group director of wildlife management Adrian Loo said on Saturday & nbsp that the organization has been actively trapping the animals in the area, with eight wild boars trapped since May, in response to CNA’s questions about the most recent attack in Bukit Panjang.

To encourage safe and dependable human-wildlife contacts, he continued,” We are also working with partners on public knowledge and awareness.”

This includes enforcing laws against the outlawed feeding of wildlife, which may change wild boars’ natural foraging habits and force them to rely on people for food. & nbsp,

NParks claimed it uses a community – and science-based approach to managing wild boar contacts, including habitat modification, controlling their movement, relocation, and slaughter.

It continued,” The approach taken takes into account the situation, location, health, and behavioral problems of the wild animals.” & nbsp,

In order to stop wildlife like boars from wandering into local residential areas, the agency also collaborates with people agencies and developers to build hoarding. & nbsp,

NParks stated that there is a need to” fairly manage” their population, particularly when public health is compromised, due to wild boars’ ability to reproduce rapidly and the absence of animals in Singapore. & nbsp,
