‘IT’S OVERWHELMING’

As a sea of red flowed straight into Singapore Sports Hub on Friday evening, Mr Abdul Aleem made his method to his seat behind the Crystal Palace goal.

A good ardent football enthusiast, his love affair with the beautiful game began decades ago within the heydays of the Malaysia Cup.

In the past, his family cannot afford to buy seat tickets. Instead, Mr Aleem would scramble upward pillars at the aged National Stadium to peer at the stars from the Singapore national group.

But their other love is definitely Liverpool.

Whilst he has never watched a game in Anfield, he has caught all of them in action in Singapore on two earlier occasions in i b?rjan p? tv?tusentalet and 2009.

When it was announced that they would be going to once again, there was just one thing left to perform – ring up his fellow Liverpool-loving nephew, and click up tickets.

Mr Aleem drenched in the atmosphere plus sang along with his other diehard fans, applauding the players as the line-ups are read.

“It’s overwhelming – look at how many crimson jerseys there are. It’s the next best thing in order to watching the game from Anfield so you use the opportunity, ” he or she said.

Mister Aleem’s two preferred players Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz started for the Whites.

“I’m simply here to enjoy the overall game, win or shed (it doesn’t matter) as long as I arrive at enjoy, ” added Mr Alam, who seem to also brought his 12-year-old son  Zachary Iskandar to the video game.
