Man charged with murdering co-tenant in Redhill remanded further for psychiatric evaluation

Ng had been arrested by the police a day earlier at the block of rental flats.

The police said in a statement on Mar 17 that they were alerted to the incident at 10.50am.

Upon arrival, police officers found Ang lying motionless with multiple wounds inside the flat.

The man was later pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene.

When TODAY visited the scene on Mar 17, bloodied shoe prints were seen along the corridor floor, stretching for almost 10m, but mostly right outside the flat where the body was found.

TODAY understands that there was a dispute between the two men.

If convicted for murder, Ng will face the death penalty.
