SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed mostly lower in the latest putting in a bid exercise on Wednesday (Dec 21).
For Type A cars, or even those 1, 600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums closed at S$88, 007, down from S$88, 503 in the last physical exercise.
Premiums pertaining to larger and more powerful cars in Group B rose to S$108, 006 through S$105, 501.
Open category COEs, which can be used for any kind of vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars, fell to S$109, 600 from S$110, 524.
COE prices for industrial vehicles, which include products vehicles and buses, fell to S$78, 200 from S$81, 501 in the previous bidding exercise.
Motorcycle premiums closed on S$11, 690, straight down from S$12, 100 in the last exercise. This is the third effective dip, after 12 consecutive increases that will first started on May 19.
