Mr Suhaimi is the founder and CEO of the SSA Group, a group of companies that provides training and human capital development solutions, management consulting services and technology solutions.
He is currently the immediate past president of the PMBM Scholarship Fund Board (LBKM).
He has also served on the board of governors of Temasek Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Council, Public Transport Council as well as the Charity Council. He previously served on the board of SG Enable and was the chairman of its audit committee.

Mediacorp also announced that Mr Yap Chee Keong and Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed stepped down as board directors at the company’s annual general meeting on Sep 20.
“On behalf of Mediacorp, I would like to thank Chee Keong and Zainul for their invaluable contributions and insightful perspectives throughout their tenure,” Mr Niam said.
“Their views, comments and recommendations have enabled the Board to make more strategic and effective decisions. As a result, we have grown stronger and made great strides in our journey, from adopting the latest technologies to elevating our multi-platform strategy in audience engagement.”
