The country registered 2, 004 more Covid-19 instances and 22 brand new fatalities during the earlier 24 hours, the Public Wellness Ministry announced on Sunday morning.
This in contrast to 2, 084 new cases and fifteen coronavirus-related fatalities reported on Saturday early morning.
There was 2, 003 local cases and one brought in case.
On Saturday, 2, 159 Covid-19 patients were discharged through hospitals after coping with the coronavirus.
Since the outbreak started in early 2020, there have been 4, 545, 043 Covid-19 situations, including 2, 321, 608 cases this season, with 4, 489, 651 complete recoveries to date.
The accumulated loss of life toll stood in 30, 835 because the beginning of the pandemic, which includes 91, 37 so far this year.
The highest number of Covid-related fatalities in a 24-hour period was 312 recorded on Aug 13, 2021. The best number of cases was twenty-eight, 379 on 04 1, 2022.
