At the intersection of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 4 on Monday ( Apr 22 ), two people died in an accident involving several vehicles in Singapore.
They are a 17-year-old girl who was a car passenger and a 57-year-old woman who was a passenger in a van, the Singapore Police Force ( SPF ) said in response to CNA queries.
The two were taken to a hospital where they later passed away while still comatose.
A 42-year-old automobile drivers is assisting with police studies. He was among six different people taken to medical following the accident, which involved four automobiles, a truck and a minivan.
At least six damaged cars at a busy intersection are seen on video of the fallout, which has debris piled up between them. One of the cars has a slammed into it.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) had previously stated to CNA that it had been informed of the injury at 7:50. 07am on Monday.
” Upon SCDF’s entrance, a man was lying on the road with one foot trapped under the vehicle of a car,” they said, adding that mechanical rescue technology was used to open the child’s foot.
