Yung Filly: YouTuber charged over sexual assault in Australia

Yung Filly, a British singer, and online character, has been accused of rape allegations in Australia.

True brand Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, he is best known for his contributions to the YouTube group Alpha Squad and has hosted shows on BBC Three.

He was arrested in Brisbane on Tuesday and extradited to Perth the following day to attend a court hearing.

Barrientos, 29, was charged on Thursday and has had his loan application approved. His staff have received requests for comment.

Four matters of sexual penetration without acceptance, three counts of assault causing physical harm, and one count of pressuring someone’s chest to prevent them from breathing normally or from getting in the air.

When he performed in Perth last week at the bar Bar120, it is claimed he brought a lady in her 20s again to his hotel room.

The harm is alleged to have taken place on Saturday, September 28.

Barrister Seamus Rafferty SC, who applied for bail on Barrientos ‘ behalf, represented him in Perth Magistrates Court.

The 29-year-old, who was touring his song while in Australia, has also appeared in the UK on Stand Up 2 Tumor on Channel 4 and Soccer Aid on ITV.
