RESPONSIBILITY OVER MS KHAN ARGUMENTED ON OCT 3 AND APPEARED RELATED TO
Mr. Ang, who is older lawyers, quizzed Singh and made the suggestion that he was being dishonest in his responses.  ,
He referred to a conference that Singh had with Ms. Khan on October 3, 2021, the day before she told a repeat of her lies in parliament.  ,
Singh recently claimed that he had instructed Ms. Khan to assume ownership and accountability if the matter was brought up in parliament, requiring her to be honest.  ,
” This was followed by,’ I do not judge you’? Proper”? Mr Ang asked in judge, to which Singh agreed.  ,
Singh even acknowledged that Ms. Khan appeared content and to have understood what Singh said.  ,
Mr. Ang therefore referred Singh to an email he sent to WP MPs on October 1, 2021, in which he discussed the need to support what was said in parliament or face being brought before a COP.  ,
Mr. Ang made the point that Ms. Khan probably knew that she might be invited to the COP, and that he had no faith in her claiming relief.  ,
” The Oct 1 message was fresh in her thinking”, said Mr Ang, and Singh agreed.  ,
You telling her to tell the truth, and monday she comes clear, but she appears to be relieved? Bless heaven I’m going to the COP'”? exclaimed Mr Ang.  ,
Singh disagreed, noting that Mr Ang left out what transpired after Singh had told Ms Khan to acquire possession and accountability.  ,
” She looked uncomfortable, ( and ) in that context I told her’ I would not judge you’. After I said that she looked a little relieved. I understood that she understood what I was saying, Singh said.  ,
Appearing bewildered, Mr Ang asked:” You would have us think that you were essentially telling her to say to the falsehood, expose herself to COP trials and she was clearly relieved? Is that your information”?
According to Singh, that is what Mr. Ang was disputing.  ,
Mr Ang then continued:” Is n’t it the truth, Mr Singh, that you told her’ continue the narrative, I will not judge you’ and she was relieved because she knew then that she does not have to admit to a lie in parliament and she was n’t being exposed, (or ) sent to the COP. Is n’t that the truth”?
Singh denied this.  ,
Asked by Deputy Principal District Judge Luke Tan to clarify what he meant by” I wo n’t judge you”, Singh said:” She has told a lie and one tends to form negative opinions about people who lie… ( but ) if ( Ms Khan clears ) the matter by telling the truth, I would not judge ( her ) for the lie”.
You’re promising to not have a negative view of her, right? Judge Tan asked. Singh agreed to this.  ,
