Pritam Singh, the leader of the opposition, will continue to be the leader of the opposition, according to Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s confirmation on Monday ( May 5 ).  ,
Following Mr. Singh’s statement on Sunday that he was doubtful whether he would continue in the place, this came after him.  ,
” I’m not sure if I’ll lead the antagonism,” he said. The current state has to make a decision regarding this. Let’s see what happens that, Mr. Singh had said.  ,
Mr. Singh may continue to serve as Leader of the Opposition, with personnel and resources available to him in a Facebook post on Monday, according to Mr. Wong.
He added that he had spoken with the WP secretary-general.  ,
In this vote, the WP faced a formidable field of applicants and won. With 10 elected chairs and 2 more NCMP chairs, they have consolidated and become more prominent in parliament, according to Mr. Wong.  ,
” I anticipate the WP members ‘ contributions to the legislative session.”
The WP will be the only criticism in the legislature. In the common vote, it resisted Aljunied GRC, Sengkang GRC, and Hougang SMC, and lost to Jalan Kayu SMC and Tampines GRC by the slimmest of margins.
The “best idiots” from among the opposition applicants are offered tickets as Non-Constituency , Members of Parliament (NCMPs ) to maintain a minimum amount of opposition members in congress if there are fewer than 12 individuals voted in after an election.
