Work It Podcast: Workplace attire – Dress to impress or distract?

I do have a lot of friends who often will come and tell me that,” Yvonne, I’ve been this position for eight, nine times, and I’m not being taken very seriously. Or I can tell when someone comes to me and thinks I’m however… very young. I’m not ( a ) junior (employee ) Yvonne. I’ve been promoted to mind of office”.

And then I’m want,” I think I can understand why some people may think of them in a particular way,” when they finally start talking and they trust me much to look at their clothing or send me pictures of their outfits.

But to Gerald’s issue, I think it actually depends on which business you’re in, because some sectors are a lot more available and a lot more like- Oh, this is good. This is clothing. Enjoy your personality.

But some of them will say,” Oh, we have customers who walk to the office all the time.” Or perhaps you work in a particular professional field where your attire will need to add some trustworthiness, perhaps even more than the others.
