SONGKHLA: On Monday morning in the Hat Yai region, a regional train struck and killed the woman.

She was hit around 8.25 a.m., close to the Tha Sae railroad bridge, about two kilometers from the Hat Yai railway bridge, according to Pol Lt. Col. Nimman Nikuno.

A person, in her 40s, was discovered dead next to the rail track with brain injuries, according to police and volunteers who arrived at the scene. Local teach 463 traveling along the Phatthlung-Sungai Kolok way had struck her. She also had her handbag, phone, and other belongings.
