SINGAPORE: A 33-year-old woman was arrested at Woodlands Checkpoint on Tuesday ( Aug 27 ) for trying to take the revolver of an Immigration and Checkpoints Authority ( ICA ) officer.
Around 3.40pm on Tuesday, the Singapore Police Force said in a news release released on Wednesday that the police had received a request for assistance at the station.
The lady arrived at Woodlands Checkpoint after being denied entry to Malaysia, according to initial studies.
She was referred to the ICA work office for extra investigations and while being interviewed, she attempted to reach for an ICA officer’s pistol.
She was instantly taken into custody.
On Thursday, the person may face charges for attempting to possess a weapon without permission.  ,
If convicted, she had become jailed between five to 10 times.
Additionally, the crime involves at least six wood breaths. Nevertheless, she may be caned as she’s a person.  ,
