‘Whole family gone’: Families identify victims of Hanoi fire

Medical professionals asked frightened relatives if they recognized their loved ones while holding out a picture on their phones or just describing the deceased.

Every time a suit was discovered, shouts broke out.

Authorities made an effort to stop people from speaking with reporters, but one person — who declined to give his name — claimed that his daughter had passed away and that he feared his wife had done the same.

He sobbed as he said,” I lost my child, who was staying with her mother.”

He told AFP, unsure of where his family was,” I guess she did not make it neither.”

The” whole family had gone ,” according to one group of five women who were seated on the morgue’s floor.

They claimed that they were our children and babies.
