The North Korean Ministry of National Defense’s surveillance video shows the time North Korea blew up the roads that connected it to South Korea.
It comes after Pyongyang vowed last week to cut off the roads and railways once seen as symbols of inter-Korean assistance, in a bid to” fully split” the two countries.
The move was criticized by the Korean People’s Army (KPA ) as” a self-defensive measure for preventing war,” claiming that it was in response to South Korean military exercises and American nuclear arsenals frequently present in the area.
It is a sign of an increase of animosity at a time when Korean tensions are at their highest level in years.
