Waste plant on fire for second time

Despite attempts by the government, the hearth at Win Process Co’s chemical waste storage facility in Rayong has not been completely contained. According to Paradon Thanasuntorn, head of the Ban Khai district’s Healthy Resources and Environmental Protection Volunteer Network, exploding remains caused a minute fire.

He claimed that the incident broke out two weeks ago, and that the aluminum waste stored inside the factory has been burning nonstop.

Locals have yet to request the removal of even worse, harmful chemical substances from the plant, and reports claim that the soil around the plant has been severely polluted.

The agency’s chemical flower is in Ban Nong Pawa town of tambon Bang But, in Ban Khai area.

The latest incident broke out yesterday night, Mr Paradon said. The warmth at the plant measured 1, 000 degrees Fahrenheit amid the steam, he said.

He added that some organizations had cut back on the site’s personnel because they lacked the cheap chemicals needed to extinguish the fire.

Mr. Paradon claimed that he had no idea who would be able to source these substances, so the flames had remain burning until it completely stops.

He added that the Provincial Administrative Organization discovered compounds in the plant’s land.

Employees were constructing openings around it to stop polluted water from entering a nearby lake.

Related substances from Win Process have been discovered in a inventory in Map Ta Phut in Rayong’s Muang neighborhood in addition to the toxic waste that is stored at the Ban Khai plant.

The business has been charged with reckless or negligent injury to people’s lives.

At 9 a.m. on April 22 the commercial spend warehouse owned by Win Process Co. was the site of the fire and explosions.

Due to the toxins left at the page, people were quickly relocated to Wat Nong Phawa in Ban Khai as a protection. No deaths were reported.
