The Transportation Police may also submit an online application to transform unusual drivers ‘ licenses.

This comes in response to a previous trial that was held in July 2022, in which Malaysian drivers ‘ license buyers could submit their online applications for the transformation of their foreign driving licenses via FormSG, the authorities said.

Within six months, applicants will receive an email notification of the results of their software.

Simply successful applicants will be notified of an interview and time to complete the transformation process. During the interview, candidates will be required to bring their supporting documents ( both original and copy ) to the TP office for confirmation,” said the authorities.

From April 29 to May 12, walk-ins for these companies will still be permitted. From May 13, all walk-ins did continue, with the exception of long-term visit go buyers renewing or replacing their leading licensing.

The Traffic Police said the police would like to see if the public understood that the country’s large volume of foreign driving licence applications requires time to verify the documents and make sure the conversion eligibility requirements are met as they process the applications, adding that they do so.
