The 71-year-old claimed in a Shin Min Daily News report that he was advised to stay in the hospital for four to six hours for study after the operation.
The purpose of the next operation was unknown.
Chin underwent his second procedure on October 7 after suffering a heart attack while filming a short film with Mark Lee, a fellow artist. He was given the diagnosis of coronary artery disease, which is brought on by blocked vessels.
He had a six-day split before the next procedure after being discharged on October 10.
