Varanasi: The ancient city at the heart of India’s election

Varanasi is one of the nation’s oldest cities and it’s usually called India’s religious money. Because it belongs to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s district, it enjoys perhaps more prominence during the American election.

On June 1st, Varanasi will cast its ballot in the final round of this massive public election.

The old town has undergone a modernization drive since Mr. Modi became the MP in 2014. Some people ‘ opinions of the advancement were uncovered by the BBC.
