A picture from a film that was posted on the Red Skull X accounts shows a traveler leaving Chiang Rai smoking an e-cigarette.

Officials at Mae Fah Luang Airport have located the customer who smoked an e-cigarette on a plane that was leaving Chiang Rai on Sunday.

According to them, the woman could face charges for violating the Act on Certain Offences Against Air Navigation, BE 2521 ( 1978 ), as well as smoking on public transportation in violation of the Tobacco Products Control Act, BE 2560 ( 2017 ).

According to Sqn Ldr Somchanok Tiamtiab- Fox, the airport director-general, airport officials have instructed the airline to call the traveler for more legal action.

A picture of a female customer smoking an electronic- cigar on board a aircraft was posted on the Red Skull X account, which has almost 620, 000 followers, on Sunday.

” This is shameful. I do n’t know how she was able to go through the airport security checkpoint”, the person who took the video wrote.

Sqn Ldr. Somchanok claimed that aircraft employees regularly checked every traveler, both literally and through X-rays. Nevertheless, an e- smoke might be missed as the mouthpieces are typically made from plastic, which is not discernible by X- rays.

He claimed that vaping materials ( commonly referred to as “mods” ), e-liquids, and disposable vapes are all prohibited on Thai flights and that they will be seized by airport security if discovered.
