US adversaries could exploit former Afghan commandos: Report

WASHINGTON: Previous Afghan security employees with sensitive understanding of US operations left out by the American evacuation operation are vulnerable to recruitment or coercion by Russia, Cina and Iran, His party lawmakers said on Sunday (Aug 14), noting that President Joe Biden’s administration failed to prioritise evacuating them.

“This is especially genuine given reports that will some former Afghan military personnel have got fled to Iran, ” minority Conservatives of the US Home Foreign Affairs Committee said in a survey on the first wedding anniversary of the Taliban takeover of Kabul.
