In a video tape that went viral on social media last year, two individuals were seen assaulting a younger student. Bangkok University has since expelled them.

About a hundred people protested on Saturday night near Bangkok University’s Rangsit school, which included two learners pouring hot sauce on one student at a soup factory in Pathum Thani’s Khlong Luang area.

They demanded that the concerned students offer an apology to the target and urged the college to take immediate action to solve the event, which occurred on Thursday.

As a result of the abuse, the victim suffered burn across his back, neck and arms. Additionally, it is said that he was allegedly beaten and forced to shave his scalp.

The victim, accompanied by Kanthat Pongpaiboonvej, also known as Kan Chompalang, filed a document with the authorities on Thursday night.

The school announced the expulsion of Rasipa” Preem” Satchawan, 22, and Chakatpol” Oshi” Wachirawan, 19, on its Facebook page on Monday, saying their steps violated the law and its rules on undergraduate control.

According to the speech, the university’s operational committee set up a meeting right away to discuss what punitive measures to take against the two learners.

After reviewing the evidence, the committee unanimously decided that their activities constituted a significant infraction of the school’s regulations and the laws.

As such, the commission decided to remove Mr Rasipa and Mr Chakatpol, powerful on Monday.

According to the statement, the school rejects violence in any shape and will take strict actions against those who violate university rules to make sure a healthy atmosphere for students.

The two individuals were detained on Sunday, according to Pol Col Kiatisak Mitprasart, director of Khlong Luang Police Station, after Thanyaburi Provincial Court issued a subpoena for their arrest for allegedly attempting to steal someone else and assaulting them with physical and psychological damage.

They are currently being held at the Khlong Luang stop.

No suspects have ever offered an apology for their deeds. Nevertheless, Mr Rasipa’s family apologised for her father’s actions on Monday, saying she didn’t understand why her child may do such a thing.

She said although Mr Rasipa is her brother, justice must get served.
