Rescue personnel were attempting to reach three persons trapped inside a high-speed railroad hole in the Pak Chong area last night when it collapsed during construction.

At 11.30 p.m. on Saturday, the hole collapsed in the tambon Chan Thuek while two employees were digging the tunnel. The second man trapped in the hole was a supervisor who had just arrived in a vehicle. At the time of the decline, there was no weather.

Approximately 600 meters from the tunnel’s access was the location of the collapse. Exploaters were being used to achieve the collapse page by rescue workers.

The state is building a 251 kilometre-long part of the Sino-Thai high-speed rail connection between Bangkok and Nakhon Ratchasima. The portion is anticipated to be finished in 2028.
