Thailand: A Polish man admitted to visiting a friend’s area on this southern visitor island and was forced to give a group of armed men more than 8 million baht.

Viacheslav Leibov, 23, told authorities at the Kamala place on Sunday that his Russian friend Alfred Chernyshuk, 18, invited him to pay a visit to the brother’s place at about 10.45pm on Friday.

At the gate of the friend’s place, an Iranian man identified as Arman Grigoryan, 21, received Mr Leibov and brought him to the area.

The men were immediately speaking with the target on the room’s balcony. After he needed to go to a bathroom. Two gentlemen were waiting for him in the bathroom area when he opened it.

The two gentlemen, with eyes covered, tied his arms with cords and wires relationships. The target said that Mr Arman told him to move USDT500, 000, then, they would break his hands. The person who covered his face with a long knife and Mr. Arman held a hammer was also present.

The victim claimed that Mr. Arman and Mr. Alfred rented the room after later escaping and finding out from the hotel reception.

Mr. Leibov claimed to have immediately taken his bike to the Phuket airport but had not seen any suspects. He therefore brought his case to the police station in Kamala.
