Typhoon disrupts travel, brings heavy rain in Japan

On Tuesday ( Aug 27 ), a powerful typhoon was moving toward southern Japan, causing heavy rain to pour down bullet trains and flights.

Typhoon Shanshan was moving towards the southern Amami island, packing winds of up to 216km per hour.

The controller claims that the gun train’s service between Hamamatsu and Toyohashi was suspended due to heavy rain, and that it will resume at 9 a.m.

According to Central Japan Railway and West Japan Railway providers, there were difficulties even for different areas of the high-speed community and local carriages.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Japan Airlines announced the cancellation of 116 domestic flights and six intercontinental flights.

The Japan Meteorological Agency advised people to “evacuate from harmful places” in light of the possibility of landslides and heavy rain in the northern Shizuoka region, as well as higher waves affecting the southern Amami area.

After this week, Typhoon Shanshan is expected to make a left turn toward Kyushu, the major southern area.

It comes in the wake of Typhoon Ampil, which caused disruption to thousands of planes and carriages this quarter.

It churned up the Pacific coastline past the Tokyo area, but it only caused minor accidents and injury as it churned up the weather.

That method arrived time after Tropical Storm Maria deposited report amounts of rain in the northern regions of Japan.

According to a study released last month, storms in the area have been forming closer to shores, intensifying more quickly, and lasting long over land.
