Two men arrested after 43-year-old attacked with brick in Geylang

SINGAPORE: &nbsp, Two people have been arrested after a 43-year-old gentleman was attacked with a brick, leaving him with multiple fractures on his face.

Around 9am on Tuesday ( Feb. 4), the police claimed they received an alert about the incident along Lorong 21 Geylang. &nbsp,

The victim was discovered with numerous abrasions on his body and fractures on his face, according to a news release from the Singapore Police Force ( SPF ) on Wednesday. &nbsp,

A cement was taken as a case show and he was taken to Changi General Hospital.

The suspects, aged 21 and 22, were identified through earth investigations as well as pictures from close-circuit tv cameras and police devices. &nbsp,

The two guys may be charged in court on Thursday with deliberately causing severe harm&nbsp, with frequent purpose, by dangerous means.

If convicted, they may be jailed for up to 15 times and fined and/or caned.

The officers “have zero tolerance for such violent acts of violence” and” will never hesitate to take actions against those who flagrantly disregard the law,” according to SPF.
