This Saturday, Siriraj Hospital did host a specific television program to honor Prince Mahidol Day and ask for donations.
Prince Mahidol Day is observed annually as a tribute to the late king’s contributions to the development of health education in Thailand and his noble devotion to the well-being of the Thai people, which laid the groundwork for the country’s contemporary medical and public health systems, according to Dr. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, professor of Mahidol University’s Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
