Turkiye's foreign minister to visit Malaysia starting Aug 3

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah will host the inaugural established visit of Turkiye’s Minister of International Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu (pic) starting upon Wednesday (Aug 3).

According to International Ministry (Wisma Putra), the two-day visit serves as a follow-up to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri’s official visit to Turkiye last 30 days, as well as a lead-up preparing for the state visit by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to Turkiye.

Saifuddin plus Cavusoglu will hold a bilateral meeting to chart a way forwards on many problems of mutual curiosity ever since the relationships between Malaysia and Turkiye were elevated to the Comprehensive Tactical Partnership.
