The Turkish government thanked Thailand for supplying humanitarian aid to assist quake rescue and recovery efforts while announcing an end to its goods donation campaign yesterday.
In a statement, the Turkish embassy in Bangkok said it was grateful to the Thai people and the Thai private sector for extending support to the embassy’s donation campaign.
However, due to space limits at the embassy and its warehouses, the embassy announced an end of its in-kind donation campaign yesterday. People who wish to extend support can still do so by financial means via the embassy’s Siam Commercial Bank account number 111-445310-9.
The embassy also warned that this is the only donation campaign the embassy supports.
