A Greek man was tied off and robbed in a condo place in Pattaya early on Tuesday night.
According to a security guard, Masis Erkol, 36, climbed out of his fifth-floor chamber and pleaded for assistance. His ankles were bound with cables, while his hands were sewn together in handcuffs and cable ties behind him.
The robbery took place in a condo building in Soi Wat Bun Kanchanaram, and it was reported to Pattaya officers at around 3.36 a.m.
The male claimed to have been tied up by three people. He was even robbed of his notebook computer and forced to exchange a sizable amount of bitcoin to a wallet.
Because the property had a strong security system, Mr. Erkol probably knew his attackers, according to police. The building’s label was never given out.
