A Thai person he met on Pattaya beach in Chon Buri state, allegedly robbed him of about 25 000 baht, according to a 56-year-old Greek person.

The Greek nationwide, identified only as Nevzat, reported the fraud to police at the Muang Pattaya place around 3am on Saturday.

He agreed to return the person for a fee after telling the police he found her attractive.

But, after he took a bath in his place, he discovered that she had left.

Able to reach her by telephone, he discovered that 4, 000 ringgit in cash, along with about US$ 600 in different currencies and many personal items were missing. The stolen goods were valued at around 25, 000 ringgit in full.

Realising he had been robbed, Mr Nevzat sought help from the authorities. Officials are looking for the woman’s identity to bring legal activity after the crime has been documented.
