In order to reduce the business gap between the two nations, US President Trump has made an announcement with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that will allow Delhi to buy more US oil and gas.

They will be reselling a lot of our gas and oil, they say. They need it. And we have it”, Trump said at a joint media briefing in Washington.

Modi said that “in order to ensure India’s power security, we will focus on business in oil and gas”, even pledging to spend more in nuclear power.

His&nbsp, two-day&nbsp, visit&nbsp, comes&nbsp, as Trump ordered that US trading &nbsp, partners may experience mutual tariffs- tit-for-tat buy taxes&nbsp, to match&nbsp, similar duties now charged by those countries on American exports.

Despite growing skepticism about business, Trump and Modi have developed a specific relationship over time.

” We’ve had a great relationship”, Trump said as he welcomed his guest in the US investment on Thursday.

He added that the US would increase US sales of defense equipment by millions of dollars to India before finally providing Delhi with F-35 fighter jets.

Immigration&nbsp, was &nbsp, high&nbsp, on&nbsp, the&nbsp, plan, &nbsp, with Trump&nbsp, expected&nbsp, to&nbsp, ask&nbsp, India&nbsp, to&nbsp, take&nbsp, back&nbsp, thousands&nbsp, of&nbsp, undocumented&nbsp, newcomers. &nbsp,

Earlier, &nbsp, Modi&nbsp, said&nbsp, he&nbsp, had likewise discussed&nbsp, area, &nbsp, technology&nbsp, and&nbsp, technology at a conference with Trump supporter Elon Musk. &nbsp,

” With Trump, I firmly believe we will work with double the speed we did during his first term,” Modi said.

Trump ordered his advisers to assess extensive new tariffs on US trading partners all over the world shortly before their diplomatic, warning that they might begin enacting by April 1st, 2018.

Trump claimed in a statement to investigators that “our friends are worse than our enemies” when it comes to buy taxes.

Before meeting with Modi, the Republican leader said,” We had a very unjust program to us. Everyone” threw the United States at it”

A press release from the White House also sent a business message to India and other nations.

According to the document, countries with which Washington had granted most favoured nation ( MFN) status had an average US tariff of 5 % on agricultural goods.

” But India’s average applied MFN tariff is 39 %”, the White House fact sheet said.

” India also charges a 100 % tariff on US motorcycles, while we only charge a 2.4 % tariff on Indian motorcycles”.

According to economists who warned that such transfer taxes might raise consumer prices, Trump acknowledged the dangers of his tax plan on Thursday.

” Prices could come up fairly, short term, but rates will also go over”, he said in the Oval Office.

He claimed that the legislation did encourage American manufacturing and “flourish the nation with work”

Trump has already imposed an additional 10 % tax on Chinese goods, citing the country’s production of morphine, a fatal opioid that has caused an overdose epidemic in the US.

He has even braced tariffs on Canada and Mexico, America’s two largest trading partners, that may take effect in March after being suspended for 30 days.

On Monday, he removed deductions from his 2018 material and metal taxes.
