Truck hits school van, killing driver, injuring students

On Wednesday night in the Pa Daet city of Chiang Rai, a delivery vehicle and another car collided head-on, killing the vehicle driver and injuring 15 students.

According to police, the crash happened on a two-lane street in Mai Tai Moo 6 town in tambon Pa Daet and was reported around 7.20 am.

A six-wheel package delivery truck with Bangkok panels overturned on the road was discovered by emergency responders who arrived at the scene quickly. A class vehicle was stopped close by and had Chiang Rai plates and a crushed-in entrance.

Behind the wheel, imprisoned inside the aircraft, the truck driver was dead. There were fifteen individuals hurt. All of the individuals were freed by the rescuers, who then transported the injured to a local hospital.

According to the police, the vehicle was transporting 20 students to Pa Daet Witthayakhom School from Wang community in the tambon San Makha. & nbsp,
