Trevor Noah defends Kanye West: ‘Human beings as a whole are complicated’

In the past, both had feuded over Noah’s comments that West was “harassing” his ex wife, Kim Kardashian, during their divorce , but Noah states now it’s more difficult than that.
“It’s easy to stand to the sidelines, see a teach crash coming plus say nothing about this, ” Noah stated on Variety’s “Awards Circuit” podcast.
He continued: “And then following the train crashes off the tracks, we say, ‘Oh, I saw that will coming! ‘ Well, then why didn’t you say anything at all? Especially if you have some sort of platform, you have some type of obligation to talk a truth. You understand, see something plus say something. inch
Noah added that people are usually complicated.
“Human beings are a paradoxon, ” he stated. “We can really like people who we hate, we can hate those who we love. Human beings as a whole are complex paradox. And so, We don’t like to live in the world where we constantly discard human beings like pieces of trash. ”
He credited West’s artistry and says he is still in a position to care for him being a human being.
“Kanye West is somebody who has a good indelible impression on my life. His songs has literally taken me through different periods of the journey, But then there are also moments where We go, like, ‘Man, Kanye, you, you’re going off the side rails here. ‘ Yet I can still say that ‘I care for a person as a human being, absolutely; that’s why I’m speaking out. I’m never going to not care for you — I’m never going to hate you immediately, ” he said, adding, “That’s could try and see the globe; that’s how I would hope people might see me. ”
“All of us should have an opportunity at redemption, ” Noah said.
