SINGAPORE: Morning commuters on Monday ( Feb 10 ) were hit by a train delay on the North-East Line due to a signalling fault at Buangkok MRT station.
SBS Transit said more vacation time of about 30 days may be expected, upwards from an original 15 days.
In a Twitter post at 7.05am, the travel operator said completely normal bus trips are available at Serangoon, Hougang and Sengkang vehicle interchanges.
Between Dhoby Ghaut and Punggol Coast facilities, designated bus stops are close to damaged channels, which are both free of charge and offer bridge bus service.
” You may wish to employ additional Tod lines if you are at HarbourFront, Outram Park, Chinatown, Dhoby Ghaut, Little India or Serangoon channels”, it said at 7.30am.
SBS Transit even advised Serangoon place travellers to use the Circle Line when visiting Harbourfront.
Choose take the Circle Line from Serangoon to Bishan and move to the North South Line if you’re traveling from Kovan to Punggol and heading to Dhoby Ghaut.
People traveling from Kovan to Punggol and to Little India are advised to get the Circle Line and then switch to the Downtown Line.
Last Friday, station companies on the North-South and East-West ranges were also delayed due to a disrupted executive car.
Some carriages were prevented from leaving the Bishan station by the incident, which occurred in the morning. The paths were finally cleared in the evening.
