According to Bangkok governor Chadchart Sittipunt, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ( BMA ) has received almost 600,000 complaints through its Traffy Fondue online platform over the past two years, the majority of which were related to road issues.

The main objective of the popular platform is to address issues that affect people ‘ daily existence, Mr. Chadchart stated in a recent update.

A full of 588, 842 issues have been submitted on Traffy Fondue, with 465, 291, or 79 % of all issues, having been addressed, he said.

He added that 201, 355 complaints, by far the majority, were related to the city’s roads, while other issues frequently reported included the condition of footpaths ( 84, 095 ), safety ( 61, 044 ), street lights ( 57, 162 ) and sanitation ( 52, 225 ).

In its next year, according to Mr. Chadchart, 345, 975 issues were submitted on the platform, 1.5 times the amount from the previous year.

The BMA can now listen to issues that used to get a fortnight to resolve and have them fixed in just two days, he said.

The swifter approach has improved women’s achievement level, with a score of 4.11 out of 5, he said.

Mr Chadchart cited the advantages of Traffy Fondue, including eliminating the need to publish complaints via letters and telephone calls, 24/7 supply and the system’s ability to receive people’s opinions.

He claimed that using Traffy Fondue to solve problems makes us a “real bright city.” It involves utilizing systems to effectively solve problems while placing the needs of the people at the center of value.
