After a vehicle struck a level clearance bar in front of a bridge at a Phaya Thai intersection in the Ratchathevi district on Thursday morning, causing paralysis for some Bangkok traffic.
A semi-trailer truck carrying tires struck the club at 5:30 a.m., preventing trucks with six wheels and more and any vehicles higher than three ten meters from using the flyover, which runs close to the BTS electronic railway’s tracks.
On the bridge, the crash caused two visitors lanes to be blocked, and it took hours for police and workers to clear the road.
The incident reportedly caused traffic to congregate for some kilometers between the Ramkhamhaeng Road and Phaya Thai intersection.
