Once the judge asked when they had anything to state, Pi said it was “not right” to allow them to have fled the nation.

“It’s because of the pressure that we face during that point of your time. Me and my partner are facing lots of death threats plus pressure, ” he or she said.

“It is our error to take that decision and we are really very my apologies about the trouble. ”

Through a Thai interpreter, Pansuk stated: “I know that You will find done something incorrect. I will cooperate with the police for the analysis. ”

The judge granted the prosecution’s request for the particular pair not to be offered bail because they were “proven” flight risks, and to become remanded for further research.

They will go back to court next week.
