In two attacks on Koh Phangan, authorities have detained three people, including a Russian, a Myanmar, and a Thai, for selling illegal e-cigarettes and baraku.

In Moo 1 community in tambon Koh Phangan on Saturday, authorities and operational officials conducted a raid on a cannabis store called Dons Professional Cannabis and found 47 electronic smoking, nine baraku smoking products, and 60 containers of baraku tobacco.
According to Pol Lt Col Charoenchai Boon-kliang of the Investigation Sub-Division of Surat Thani Provincial Police, an investigation revealed that the store was a big seller of these prohibited goods to visitors on the island.
The group arrested the factory caregiver – identified as Sofia Gaifullina, a 27-year-old Russian – and her Myanmar staff, Sandar Win, 41.  ,
Ms. Gaifullina was accused of colluding to buy prohibited or nontaxable goods while working without a permit. Working without a force is a charge brought against Ms. Win.  ,
After discovering 33 e-cigarettes in a separate attack on a used clothing store in the same location, police apprehended a 55-year-old Thai person identified as Orapan Thongsong.
