Even though it was light raining, Toh was now waiting for me at the Tampines MRT stop at 6am on Thursday and ready to go.  ,
The initial excursions into the HDB lands, where 60 % of it was off-pavement, seemed like the start of a move that would never end.
However, Toh was convinced at every move, most of the time without actually looking at his cellphone for information, despite the seemingly limitless way one could get lost when they leave a way.
Toh said he knows the place like the back of his hands because he has lived in Tampines his entire career.  ,
” I am quite familiar with this place, so I usually know where to turn and where to cross, so I treat ( Tampines ) like a piece of paper, I can cut through any part of this area”, he said.  ,
