These stay-at-home mums began blogging and using Instagram as an outlet, now they nurture online communities

I felt unseen and alone when I left my job and began the chapter of my life as a stay-at-home mother, according to Binsemait. As a fresh mother, I didn’t spend much time outside the house because I was so busy caring for my girl. Many of my friends were either not mothers or were working mothers.

Binsemait was even impacted by how people perceived SAHMs because not many knew what she was going through.

” I was busy cleaning the house, changing babies, learning how to cook and then cooking for my child and the home, and planning and scheduling playing with my child yet though I was at home all the time. I hardly had day for myself, she said, so it was a bit. & nbsp,

She looked for SAHMs or moms in Singapore online but was unsuccessful. She remarked,” Yet the virtual space wasn’t where I could move to.”
