Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, the head of the Progressive Movement, is counting on a second successful election to form a government.

The billionaire-turned-politician predicted that the group, which is rooted in the now-defunct Future Forward Party, may win the national election in 2027 in an appointment in the film film&nbsp, Breaking the Cycle.

The 45-year-old claimed that the party he founded did have three elections to achieve the government’s objectives.

The meeting was filmed after he and another Future Forward professionals were&nbsp, banned from elections &nbsp, in 2020.

Mr Thanathorn, along with two different coworkers, formed Future Forward in 2018. Two years later, the group was disbanded by the Constitutional Court, and its leaders were barred from politics for ten years for accepting 191.3 million ringgit from an unaffiliated cause.

Mr. Thanathorn and previous Future Forward professionals continue to spearhead social campaigns through the Progressive Movement despite this loss.

The previously formed Move Forward Party was soon joined by a large number of Coming Forwarders. But, Walk Forward’s future is uncertain as the court is scheduled to decide next month whether the main opposition party will be disbanded for allegedly undermining the constitutional monarchy by attempting to update Part 112 of the Criminal Code, also known as the lese-majeste rules.

Members of the party, who are actually from Future Forward, are gaining political maturity and experience, according to Mr. Thanathorn at a recent forum to celebrate the film’s premiere in cinemas, and will be able to handle the nation after the following election. As long as there are no tear elections or unexpected social situations, the second vote is scheduled for 2027.

” That is the time that we will be completely ready”, he told the audience.

” I have set my sights on 2027. I have a strong belief in that year. It does n’t matter what the name of the party will be: Future Forward, Move Forward or a third party”.

Future Forward won 80 chairs in the 2019 election. Moving Forward stunned the nation last year by obtaining the most votes in the election and securing 151 MPs.

” But we could not achieve a decisive win in 2023 as we only had 10 more seats ( than the Pheu Thai Party )”, he said. Pheu Thai came next with 141 chairs.

” We have a wonderful opportunity in the next poll”, he added.

From the moment he entered elections in 2018, Mr. Thanathorn and his party colleagues are uncovered in Breaking the Cycle. The party they founded before changing its name to Walk Forward had the goals of preventing Gen Prayut Chan- o cha from gaining control and providing voters with a second option in terms of politics. The movie is a product of two younger managers, Thanakrit Duangmaneeporn and Aekaphong Saransate.

” The two dared to believe big”, Mr Thanathorn praised the managers. Never did I anticipate that this film had advance this way.
