Lee MAI: Past leading Thaksin Shinawatra pleaded with his critics on Saturday to concentrate on pressing issues rather than merely scrutinizing every media report.

Thaksin addressed the many criticisms that have been levied against him by reviewers since his returning to Thailand past August 22 when he made the trip back to his home state and Pheu Thai stronghold soon after being released from Police General Hospital.

He received early probation after receiving care at the hospital for about six weeks. His critics have also criticised him for traveling northwest.

” The crisis is false. That’s it”, he said, referring to the seemingly unlimited storm of title reports with him as the subject.

He claimed that even while he was in Chiang Mai, his supporters kept asking why he appeared good and not as severely ill as he had claimed when granted parole.

After 17 years of living in self-imposed exile, Thaksin claimed that his considerably improved mental state had outweighed his physical weakness and that his health has now significantly improved.

He claimed he continued to suffer from Long Covid and that he had previously been treated in an intensive care unit for up to nine times when he had Covid- 19. He added that he had previously been treated in an intensive care unit for up to nine days with a diagnosis of Covid- 19.

” Then I’m up — and if anyone does n’t like me, they can live their life and I will live my life]without disturbing each other ]”, said the ex- top.

He said he does not have any vacation plans another than revisiting Chiang Mai second quarter during Songkran, the Thai New Year festival, which he is contemplating.

” No, I’m hardly thinking about going somewhere different. The numerous issues that the nation faces are the only things that bother me.

While I spent six months at the Police General Hospital, I was watching the news on television and reflecting on the region’s issues, he said.

Among them is the need to boost the economy, which Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, according to Thaksin, is worthy of doing.

Regarding the red-shirt followers in different parts of the nation who claimed they wanted to meet him, Thaksin said he still faces limitations while on supervision and must strictly adhere to the conditions of his probation.
