Thaksin Shinawatra has acknowledged the reality that he may bring his sister Yingluck up house for the Songkran event this year as he had previously predicted.
In August, Thaksin declared his intention to take Yingluck again to Thailand in time to observe the customary new season together.
He suddenly acknowledged on Sunday that his girlfriend had to wait a while longer, claiming that the timing was unacceptable for her return. The former prime minister said to reporters,” A hope and the reality often are not the same.
When the moment is right, he continued,” she will gain when the time is right.”
Thaksin declined to provide more details about the factors that are still holding back his determination to provide Yingluck back from her years of exile, which were mainly spent in London.
Thaksin stated that he will observe Songkran in Chiang Mai between April 12 and April 13.
Yingluck fled the nation in 2017, just before the Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions sentenced her for failing to combat fraud in her administration’s rice-pledging plan when she was perfect secretary.
