Folks honor King Rama IX on Father’s Day by observing him.
On his day, which coincides with National Father’s Day, Thai persons honored and made honors on Thursday in his honor.
On Thursday night in Sanam Luang, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra led members from the public and private sectors to distribute donations to 189 Buddhist priests.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Privy Council, Senate, Supreme Court, case, separate and democratic institutions, Royal Thai Armed Forces, Royal Thai Police and different government and private organizations.

The meeting that Ms. Paetongtarn presided over at King Rama IX Memorial Park in Dusit city saw the laying of flowering bouquets at the late king’s statue.
At the Na Khuan drain gate, which is located at the mouth of the Bhuminathdamri river, dozens of yellow-clad individuals gathered in Hat Yai. They paid their respects to the late king for his decision to drill the waterway to shield Hat Yai from extensive floods.
Financial areas in Helmet Yai were spared during the current flooding that has greatly impacted regions across the South. And while high water levels were visible outside the city, Songkhla Lake immediately received waters from the drain river.
Helmet Yai’s inhabitants also participated in garbage collection and other community events in honor of the late king.
Members of the public and regional authorities in Phuket and other regions throughout the nation gave charity to Buddhist monks to demonstrate their gratitude to HM King Bhumibol.
