As Thailand transitions from the summer to the rainy season, northeastern counties have dominated the hottest places this time.
The top 10 spots on Sunday were all in the northwestern region, with Muang district in Mae Hong Son province serving as the region’s top-rated spot, where temperatures reached a record high of 42.3°C, according to a report released on Monday from the Meteorological Department.  ,
Lampang and Muang districts in Chiang Mai placed eighth and third respectively, respectively, in the top 10.

The North recorded eight out of the region’s ten hottest spots on Saturday, once led by Muang region in Mae Hong Son at 41.5°C.
The weather service company predicted that by mid-May the summer would be over. It started out on February 28th.
Scientists warned of summer storms starting on Monday and continuing through Thursday, mostly in northern and northern provinces. Forecaster Manoon Da-oi stated on a Facebook program that” some places may have thunder storms, storms, and lightening as well.”
